Attorney General hasn’t received many reports of price gouging

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – As the pandemic unfolded, there were reports of price gouging with packs of toilet paper being sold for as much as $80 or more.

South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg says he hasn’t had many reports reach his office.

Ravnsborg says legal action would be a last resort.

 

Ravnsborg says there aren’t too many state laws on the books dealing with price gouging.
