PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- He’s asking the Legislature to go on the offensive on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Child porn.

Attorney General Marty Jackley is especially concerned about so-called “Deep Fake” images created with AI.

Jackley says action is needed to protect the innocent from being harmed.

He’ll ask the legislature to pass a law that opens the door for state prosecution of child porn produced with AI.

Jackley says law enforcement is beginning to see a heavier use of AI in the production of pornography.
