Attorney General Jackley wants Congress to address copycat hemp

PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- Copycat hemp products that put children at risk.

That’s the target of a request from Attorney General Marty Jackley and 20 other Attorneys General.

They’re asking Congress to fix language in the 2018 Farm bill that allows the unregulated marketing of intoxicating hemp products.

At the same time, Attorney General Jackley says the group doesn’t want to interfere with agricultural hemp production, which he says is going well in South Dakota.
