RAPID CITY, S.D.(WNAX)- Crews remain on scene, but the script has been flipped on the Auburn Fire.

Tessa Jaeger, public information officer for the Rapid City Fire Department, gave the final assessment of the now 100 percent contained Fire.

Jaeger said today’s rain will assist in putting out the last of those hot-spots.

The completed job was the result of teamwork and persistence according to Jaeger.

The Auburn fire is the second fire this year to push within Rapid City limits, following the Schroder Fire in March.
