Authorities investigating missing cattle in Todd County

TODD COUNTY, S.D. (DRG News) – Authorities are investigating the disappearance of 100 cows and calves from pastureland in Todd County.

Information from the South Dakota Brand Board says the animals are Black or Red Angus. The 45 cows and 55 calves are missing from the area north of Rosebud. The FBI, Todd County Sheriff’s office and state brand inspectors have all been notified.

The animals are branded and belong to the Steve, Kent and Drew Peterson family from the Salem area in McCook County.
