ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – The Avera Foundation’s 2021 Deck the Halls event and fundraiser to support Avera Cancer Institute in Aberdeen will be held Nov. 8 through Dec. 4.

The event can be supported in a variety of ways. Individuals can:

Buy tickets for the in-person holiday party on Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Avera Human Performance Center

Bid for items on the “12 Gifts of Christmas” Online Auction

Purchase holiday wreaths that will be donated to residents of long-term care and hospice patients

“Our patients are the reason for everything we do at Avera,” said Amy Blackstone, Regional Director of Philanthropy with the Avera Foundation. “Deck the Halls is our holiday tradition and allows us to celebrate the champions who fight health challenges, from patients and families to the care providers and the philanthropists, we are all fighting for the same cause.”

All proceeds will benefit the Avera Cancer Institute and the many patients Avera serves in the Aberdeen region.

The Avera Foundation is actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and will make proper adjustments to the social component of the event if necessary for the safety and well-being of our communities.
