Avera Health is donating one million dollars to Mount Marty College in Yankton in support of their fifteen-million-dollar field house project.
Avera Sacred Heart Hospital President Doug Ekeren says they will move their sports programming and the Coach Rozy Performance Center in the field house.
Trainer Mark Roozen says their sports conditioning program has grown rapidly.
Roozen says the field house will be a good spot for their program.
About three thousand square feet of the one hundred thousand square foot field house will be dedicated to the “Avera Sports and Coach Rozy Total Training for Elevated Performance” center.
The field house is scheduled to open in the summer of 2020.
