SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Avera Health will require Covid-19 vaccinations for all of its employees by December first.

Chief Medical and Innovation Officer Dr David Erickson says  they have been consistent requiring other vaccines.

Erickson says there are a number of reasons they are moving on the vaccine requirement.

Erickson says all the medical information shows the benefits of the Covid vaccines.

Erickson says a majority of Avera employees are already vaccinated, and a survey shows strong support for extending that protection.
