ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Avera Research Institute Mobile Unit was in Aberdeen this week.  The institute is based out of Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls.

Clinical Coordinator Mal Foss talked about the history of the institute.

Foss described ECHO and how that came about.

Foss went over the age range that can work with the program.

Foss also addressed Healthy Start which deals with pregnancies and looking for ways to improved childhood health.

Foss talked about how they are funded.

The mobile bus is scheduled to return to Aberdeen coming up in September.
