ABERDEEN, S.D. — Avera St. Luke’s is making changes to continue to meet patients’ health needs by extending access to after hours care beginning the week of January 3, 2023.
With the change, Avera Urgent Care Aberdeen will be renamed Avera After Hours Clinic. The after hours clinic will be open on Fridays from 1 to 7 p.m., as well as its current hours of 5–7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Patients will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
Avera After Hours Clinic is designed to see simple sick visits when a primary care physician is not available or for those that need medical attention for non–life–threatening problems after hours. Anyone with more serious ailments or injuries should visit our Emergency Department. As always, the Primary Care Providers at Avera Medical Group.
Aberdeen Family Physicians will see patients during the week. Avera Medical Group Aberdeen Family Physicians will close at noon on Fridays beginning Friday, Jan. 6.
