ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Coming up this weekend Avera will be distributing the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at Arts in the Park event at Melgaard Road.

Director of Public Relations, Victoria Lusk tells us why this was a great opportunity to relay the message of getting vaccinated.

The first 30 people on Saturday & Sunday would get a $10 gift card from Ken’s SuperFair Foods.

Director of Pharmacy, Alvin Haugen told us the differences between J&J and the other COVID-19 vaccines.

Haugen lists some of the potential side effects of the Johnson vaccine.

Lusk tells us Avera ordered 150 J&J vaccines for this event.  You can either walk-in either day or schedule an appointment at 622-5273 or online at vaccinefinder.gov
