AVON, S.D.(WNAX)- School districts across the state are working on their budget plans for next year.
Avon Superintendent Tom Culver says they will start with the seven percent increase in state aid passed by the legislature.
Culver says they also try to track potential students in their district.
Culver says the budget increase will help keep and attract teachers but they do need to be creative.
The new budget takes effect on July first.
