EAGLE BUTTE, S.D. (WNAX) – The race for a seat on the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission is the only statewide election connected to a state office this year.

Democrat Remi (ray-me) Bald Eagle of Eagle Butte says he has the interest and education to handle the job.

Bald Eagle says he has good job related experience, too.

Bald Eagle says his work with tribal government is also relevant.

Bald Eagle is the Intergovernmental Coordinator for the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.

He faces Libertarian Devin Saxon and incumbent Republican Gary Hanson in next month’s election.
