ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Jarrett O. Jones, 48, of Bath, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, Jan. 2. Bond has been set at $1 million.

Jones was arrested last Friday and appeared in court on Monday afternoon.

According to court documents, Jones is accused of shooting Jon Schumacher, 28, during an altercation in rural Aberdeen.

A preliminary hearing has been set for Thursday, Jan. 16.
