PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- A bill to protect students from Critical Race Theory training and orientation will be up for debate on the South Dakota House floor today.
Representative Chris Johnson of Rapid City, who supported the bill in committee, says controversial topics have been and will be taught in state schools.
Johnson says that is the strength of American history.
Johnson says kids today should not be taught that they have any responsibility for past issues.
