Bill to expand broadband internet in South Dakota pass Appropriation Committee

PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- A bill that would authorize up to one hundred million dollars for broadband expansion in South Dakota is moving through the legislature.

Governor Kristi Noem put a plug in for the bill.

Noem says there are grants available to companies interested in expanding broadband services.

The bill was included in the Governors budget request she gave legislators at the start of the session.
