TRIPP, S.D.(WNAX)- The trillion dollar plus infrastructure bill passed by the US Senate could trickle down hundreds of millions of road and highway dollars to South Dakota.
Representative Caleb Finck of Tripp, Chairman of the House Transportation Committee, says it’s important to keep the highway funding formula intact.
Finck says that federal funding is critical to keep up with road and bridge work.
Finck says the state Department of Transportation continues to update the five year plan.
The bill now has to go through the House and may land in a conference committee before final passage.
