ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – November is full of activities as the start of the holiday season begins.

The month is also full of Vitalant Blood Drives, because this is a critical time of the year to donate.

Abbie Arneson, Senior Donor Recruiter for Vitalant, said the month gets going in the Aberdeen area on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

There are also two drives in Aberdeen next week.

Other November drives include Sacred Heart Church in Aberdeen on Nov. 17, Redfield on Nov. 18, Tulare on Nov. 19, Dacotah Bank in Aberdeen on Nov. 20, and Northwestern High School in Mellette on Nov. 25.

Arneson said there is also an opportunity throughout the week to donate at the Vitalant Office on Roosevelt St.

She said people often get busy at this time of the year and don’t always think about donating, so this is an important time to give blood.
