PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The South Dakota legislature this year was a big help to the four technical colleges.

Lobbyist Grace Beck updated the Board of Technical Education at their meeting last Thursday.

Beck says the appropriations committees smoothly worked through the budget process.

Beck says the tech colleges got the funding and authorizations they asked for.

The board also heard a report on a slight spring enrollment rise at the four technical colleges.
