MADISON, S.D.(WNAX)- Bob Sahr, the current general counsel for East River Electric will become the cooperatives general manager on August first.

He says they, like most electric providers, are seeing good demand for power.

Sahr says they are seeing the growth with all of their member cooperatives.

Sahr says he wants to focus on growing partnerships.

Sahr has been with the cooperative since 2006, before that he was on the Public Utilities Commission from 2001 through 2006.
