PIERRE, S.D. (KCCR) – Last week, Avera St. Mary’s hospital began administering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to front line healthcare workers. Doctor Phil Meyer was one of the first to get vaccinated and says both vaccines have been full vetted.
Meyer says will not impact the DNA of a person after some people have raised concerns about the vaccine impacting DNA.
Meyer says the vaccine attacks the multiple extensions that protrude from the virus.
