ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen Area is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The commemorate the event, the club is hosting a fundraiser. Mike Sommers, board member at the club, provides some of the details.

There are a variety of items available depending on the level of donation, according to club board member Kim Bot.

The club lost several of its major fundraisers due to the pandemic, but the needs remain. Club executive director Mike Herman said there are multiple ways to make a donation.

The Boys & Girls Club provided more than a thousand meals during the pandemic and will continue to do so, according to Herman.
