Brandei Schaefbauer announces run for District 3 House

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- Brandei Schaefbauer of Aberdeen has submitted her nominating petitions to run for South Dakota House of Representatives for District 3.

A wife and mother, Schaefbauer is a Republican. She describes herself as-pro life, pro-family, pro-constitution and a defender of the Second Amendment.

Schaefbauer said she grew interested in the political process when she was a legislative page for state Sen. Jim Stoick, R-Mobridge, in 1992.

A graduate of Mobridge High School, Schaefbauer attended Presentation College where she earned an associate degree in surgical technology. She and her husband BJ settled in Mobridge where she became a real estate broker. They moved to Aberdeen in 2010, where she has been a stay-at-home mother for their four sons.
