VERMILLION, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On day two of the two day tournament down south, it was filled with names near the top of the leader board that were champions at the state tournament this last week in class A & class AA, respectively.

Class A champion from St. Thomas More HS, Rylan Horning would be the medalist for the event. She tied with Vanessa Smith from Brandon and defeated her in the first round of the playoff on the first hole.

Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun would shave nine strokes off her day one total of 84 and finished with a 75 for the second day; Braun finished in third place for the two day tournament, which wrapped up on Tuesday at “The Bluffs” in Vermillion.

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Claire Crawford finished the tournament in 11^th place, carding a (+29, 173) for the two day event. Crawford saw her game improve by five strokes from day one to day two.

On the guys side, Jackson Keizer from Orange City, IA would be the medalist, defeating Carter Langle of Elk Point on the first hole of the playoff.
