Aberdeen, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – According to sources, Brian Dolan will not be returning as the head coach of the Groton Area Boys basketball team next year.

On Thursday, multiple sources had given word to Hub City Radio that Dolan had been let go; over the last two years, the Tigers finished as the consolation champions in the Class A state tournaments.

In that two year span, the Tigers compiled a record of 38-13.

In a tip sent to Hub City Radio, according to the Groton Area School District board agenda for next weeks’ meeting on Monday, item five on the “new business” list is, “approve resignation from Brian Dolan, Head Boys Basketball Coach.”

At the time of this printing, multiple phone calls were placed to the Groton Area athletic department and no phone calls had been returned.
