Bridging America event to take place Monday at Keystone

KEYSTONE, S.D.(KOTA)- There may not be fireworks at Rushmore, but Keystone will be the host of the Bridging America event, ostensibly about food security, on the Fourth of July.

The event will have music starting at 12:15, and the program of speakers will start at 1 pm at the Watson City Park.

The Wall of Honor, a Bismarck-based non-profit, will be displaying a digital showcase of local veterans.

The lineup of speakers includes Theresa Thibodeau, who recently made an unsuccessful run in the Nebraska gubernatorial race, Trent Loos, her lieutenant governor candidate and radio host, and Mitchell-based ag blogger Amanda Radke.

Also among the speakers will be Kevin Jenkins, a social media influencer who has been described as a “major” promoter of vaccine misinformation, and Mollie James, founder of the James Clinic who has called for so-called “jailbreaks” involving pulling patients from hospitals against the medical advice of other doctors.
