BROOKINGS, S.D. (KJJQ) – Saturday’s broadcast of ESPN’s Game Day from South Dakota State University will mean millions of eyes on the campus and the city of Brookings.
What exactly will that mean for the university? SDSU Director of Marketing and Communications Mike Lockrem shared his thoughts.
He says everything is pretty much in place and planned for.
They don’t really know for sure how many people will show up Saturday morning, but they’re planning for between 10,000 and 15,000 people.
Obviously, that raises security concerns.
He says it’s a real opportunity for the university, for Brookings and for the state to showcase itself.
