Brown Co. has one new COVID-19 case; Noem encourages taking step back

PIERRE, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – As expected, the number of positive coronavirus cases continue to grow, but so do the negative tests and recoveries. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem told residents of the state to take a step back and hit the pause button during her press conference this morning.

She assured that coronavirus will be stopped.

The state has 11 new cases bringing the total to 41. There are currently 819 negative tests with 268 pending. Minnehaha County now has 13 confirmed cases, the same number as Beadle County. Brown County has one new positive test, its second total. The state also saw an increase in the number of people who have recovered from a positive test with that total now at 13.

Noem encouraged people to stay positive, and spend more time with family and friends.

The Governor said we have a common enemy in the virus. She said that people need to rally around each other.
