ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Thursday, the Brown County Commission officially audited their results for the 2024 elections.

The vote center used for the audit was the Columbia Vote Center that had 243 ballots casted.

The races used for the audit was the Presidential & the U.S, House races.

The tally before the audit for the  Presidential race was the following:

Donald Trump – 179 votes

VP Kamala Harris – 55 votes

Robert F Kennedy, Jr. – 3 votes

Chase Oliver – 0 votes

Over/Under votes – 6

The tally for the U.S. House race:

Congressman Dusty Johnson – 183 votes

Sheryl Johnson – 43 votes

Over/Under votes – 17

Following the hand count audit, the votes tally for both races were exactly the same as was posted.

The audit took about 45 minutes to complete.

Next step is to send the audit to the Secretary of State’s Office.
