ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday morning the Brown County Commission held a canvassing board meeting to certify the results of last Tuesday’s elections.

Interim Brown County Auditor Lynn Heupel talked about the figures.

Heupel broke down the exact number of votes taken same day & absentee.

The two discrepancies involved absentee ballots, one with invalid siganature & other involving a couple where two ballots were sent in but only one could be counted. There was no invalvid ballots casted on election day.

Heupel talks about potentially a new voting location on the south end of Aberdeen.

The County Commission unanimously approved the results.
