ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At last week’s Brown County Commission, the commissioner were informed of an odor issue coming from Demkota Beef Plant during the rendering process from the residents at Eisenhower Circle. This week the commission addressed that topic.
They heard once again from Kelly Rositto(Ro-Sat-To).
Commissioner Duane Sutton talks about what the commission did since receiving the complaint a week ago.
Sutton discuss conversations they had with the beef plant regarding the odor coming from mechanical issues.
Sutton acknowledge that there are no ordinances dealing with odor but instead dealing with the issue of nuisance and recommended the citizens in the area to keep a log of what’s going on for the future.
Another resident Tana Westby after hearing that commented on what happened back on Monday of this week.
No further action was done at this time by the commission.
