ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, the commissioners discussed NACO(National Association of Counties) recommendation to support the National Center for Public Land Counties.

Commissioner Chair Duane Sutton explains that Brown County qualified for $100,000.

Commissioner Mike Wiese talks about the reputation that NACO has.

There is a fee of one percent to receive this grant.  Commissioner Doug Fjeldheim believe this is a good idea.

The Brown County Commission aprroved on a 5-0 vote.
