ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, Commissioner Drew Dennert discuss a resolution to combat what the South Dakota Legislature could do to override setbacks for pipelines.

Dennert asked Spink County landowner Ed Fischbach about the bill they could be discussing at the South Dakota Senate.

Dennert explains why the resolution is on hold for the moment.

Fischbach inform the commission that they don’t much time to react & gave example of what happened last week with HB1079.

Former Brown County Commissioner Dennis Feickert express concerns this could have an impact not just on the counties but with cities as well.

The commission will try to react quickly as soon as the bill is published.
