ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, the commissioners received an update on the condition of the bridges inside Brown County.

The county has 134 bridges.  Chelsey Sheridan with IMEG provided the figures on their conditions.

Brown County Highway Superintendent Dirk Rogers talks about some of the bridges that are in the poor conditions.

Rogers talks about some of the funding issues for those bridges.

Rogers talks about working with a limited number of bridge contractors in the state.

For a bridge to be rated in poor conditions, the sufficiency rating had to be below forty percent.
