ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, the commissioners received a bid to replace the roof at the Holum Expo Building at the Brown County Fairgrounds.

Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley discuss the bid the board received.

The bid came from Mega Construction with the material from Campbell’s Town & Country.

Kippley request the commissioners defer it because the cost was much higher than was budgeted.

Kurt Preszler with Mega Construction was asked about the timeline by Rachel & Brown County Commissioner Mike Wiese.

Rich Helgeman with Town & Country recommend that the building needs a new roof, but be sure to be done the right way.

The Brown County Commission did defer this for at least another week.
