ABERDEEN, SD (Hub City Radio)

The historic Gubernatorial Run Off race was lopsided Statewide and Brown County was no exception. According to County Auditor Lynn Heupel, all precincts were in by 9:35 pm CST with 5,839 votes counted. Larry Rhoden with 3,962 and Challenger Toby Doeden well behind with 1,872. Rhoden will move on to face Democrat candidate Dan Ahlers, as has been reported, Doeden conceded the race early, congratulating Governor Rhoden on the win.
