ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley address the Brown County Commission Tuesday looking for funding needed to replace the sprinkler system at the Holum Expo building at the fairgrounds.

Kippley talks about the importance of getting this done prior to the start of the Brown County Fair in August.

Kippley discuss bids sent to them since last week’s meeting.

Kippley inform the commission that some of the funded will come from the savings account they have established.

The County Commission after deliberating(mostly concerned about the legality of the bid process) approved Kippley’s request of $48,800 to Western States Fire Protection Co. based here in Aberdeen.  They assured that the project will exceed $50,000 and that it will be done by the start of the Brown County Fair in August.
