ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley provided an update on replacing the roof for the Holum Expo Building to the Brown County Commission Tuesday.

The cost to replace the roof is over $600,000 which is well over the budget planned.  Kippley talks about how a fund set aside for special projects.

The fund as of today is sitting at over $427,000.

Kippley offer some suggestions on how to raise funds for the roof.  One way is getting groups that uses the facilities to help contribute to it.

Another idea Kippley talks about is naming rights for the building.

Kippley talks about signs inside the building that can be used for it.

The Brown County Commission tabled it for now.
