ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission on Tuesday received an update on bids to the Brown County Fair for entertainment contracts.
Brown County Fair Manager Rachel Kippley talks about what they are looking for in the contract.
Five businesses submitted bids and Kippley read them to the Commission. All the contracts are for three years.
Here’s is what the contracts look like:
Hooked Up Entertainment(Mandan, N.D.)
2024- $23,500
- 2025- $23,500
- 2026- $26, 500
Pepper Entertainment(Sioux Falls, S.D.)
- 2024- 8% Talent Fee, $30,000
- 2025- 9% Talent Fee, $30,000
- 2026- 10% Talent Fee, $30,000
Monument Talent(Rapid City, S.D.)
- 2024- $18,000
- 2025- $20,000
- 2026- $20,000
NesteLive(Nashville, T.N.)
- 2024- $28,000 + Hotel Room for Representative
- 2025- $29,000 + Hotel Room for Representative
- 2026- $30,000 + Hotel Room for Representative
Romeo Entertainment Group(Nashville, T.N.)(Presented two options)
Option 1:
- 2024- $31,000 + $500 per day
- 2025- $33,000 + $500 per day
- 2026- $35,000 + $500 per day
Option 2:
- 2024- $17,000 + $1 per ticket sold
- 2025- $19,000 + $1 per ticket sold
- 2026- $21,000 + $1 per ticket sold
The Brown County Fair Board will deliberate on these offers and hope to have a recommendation by next week’s Brown County Commission meeting.
