ABERDEEN, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- County commissioners and sheriffs from around the region were back in Aberdeen Saturday to continue discussion of a regional jail in Aberdeen.

The afternoon meeting was hosted by Brown County Commissioners at the County Courthouse. During the meeting a room of county officials heard the highlights of a recent needs assessment conducted for Brown County and the expected cost. Officials were also asked to consider contributing toward that need.

Brown County has a building they plan to purchase for $4.5 million. The sale agreement is expected to be signed Tuesday.
