Dirk Rogers, Brown County Highway Superintendent addressed the Commission with updates on several projects, a couple that are of note are some collaborative efforts, starting with the use of a Scraper or Earth Mover from the County Landfill. Rogers said its sped up and made the Rodeo arena build for the Fair, much easier.
He also told the Commission the last portion of Dakota Street from Nano Nagle Ave., North will be finished up with the help of Jensen’s Rock and Sand, as well as the City.
That will wrap up the work on Dakota until future years, when there may be discussion of changing the last half mile to concrete and addressing the infrastructure that would be needed for further development. That is dependent on several factors that only time can tell.
