Brown County Highway Superintendent deliver five year plan

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, the Brown County Highway Superintendent Dirk Rogers delivered his five year plan for upcoming projects.

Rogers talks about some possible change to the road near the Aberdeen Regional Airport.

Rogers listed the road as a Hot in Place Recycle.

Rogers talks about a road coming off of US HWY 281 to 391st Street.

Rogers discuss the work planned for a road coming from US HWY 12 to 137th Street.

Rogers discuss microsurfacing planned for 2026.

Rogers also discuss the plan fo 2026 for the Sand Lake Bridge project.

The cost projected for 2026 is over eight million dollars.  The other projects for the next four years was briefly mentioned but are subject to change.

Projections for the Richmond Dam & Spillway is expected to begin in 2026 with the road and bridge connected to it to begin in 2027.
