ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- At Saturday’s Candidate Forum, the four candidates running for Brown County Sheriff were asked what role the South Dakota Legislature should play to help address recidivism.
Incumbent Sheriff Dave Lunzman:
Lunzman referred to a bill passed by the legislature back in 2013. Candidate Dan Kaiser was a legislator in 2013 and voted against that bill calling it soft on crime. Kaiser believes they need to push legislators to not pass bills soft on crime.
