YANKTON, D.C.(WNAX)- The budget signed by President Biden last week includes almost twenty-two million dollars for ongoing construction of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System.

Executive Director Troy Larson says they have plans ready to go.

Larson says they have several more projects on their list.

Larson says they expect another round of federal funding later this month.

The project pumps water to twenty member cities and rural water districts in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota from wells near the Missouri River south of Vermillion.
