PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – This is normally a big week for businesses with Black Friday and the, more or less, official start of holiday shopping.

Nathan Sanderson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, says businesses continue to adapt to a very different year.

Sanderson says they continue to urge retailers to establish and expand their online presence.

Sanderson says this is always a critical time for many retailers but especially this year.

Sanderson says he is concerned that many small businesses won’t survive into the new year without a successful holiday time.
