ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – COVID-19 has had a bit of an impact on camping, but the outdoor activity remains as strong as ever.

Dawn Thorstenson, Wylie Park Concession Manager, said that camping is still a popular summer activity.

The area has approximately 165 spots between RVs, cabins and tents.

Workers do what they can to help ensure the safety of those who stay there.

Thorstenson said there are plans in place in case of rough weather, which has been the case lately.
