LEOLA, S.D.(Aberdeen American News)- A forum for District 23 legislative candidates will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Leola Municipal Building.
The two candidates running for state Senate and four candidates running for state House, all of whom are Republicans, have been invited.
Candidates for Senate are Bryan Breitling of Miller and Spencer Gosch of Glenham. Gosch currently serves as District 23 representative, and Breitling is District 23 senator.
Candidates for the two Hours seats are Brandon Black of Aberdeen, Gregory Brooks of Aberdeen, James D, Wangsness of Miller and Scott Moore of Ipswich.
The top vote getter in the Senate race and top two vote getters in the House race in the June 7 primary will serve in Pierre because they will be unopposed in November. Only registered Republicans will be able to vote for these races in the primary.
