YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- South Dakota cannabis organizations have compiled and released a legislative scorecard, analyzing votes on significant cannabis bills during the legislative session.
Ned Horsted, executive director of the Cannabis Industry Association of South Dakota, says there were some surprises.
Horsted says there were was also a bill (HB1045) that would have taxed cannabis and sent the money to counties.
Horsted says medical cannabis is about to launch across the state.
The organizations are also cooperating to get petition signatures for another attempt at a constitutional amendment legalizing recreational marijuana.
