YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The board of directors of the River City Domestic Violence Center and River City Family Connections in Yankton announced that Cassie Nagel will join them as Executive Director.

She was with the Childrens Home Society as an Education and Public Awareness Specialist.

Nagel says there is a lot of misinformation about domestic violence.

Nagel says domestic issues have a wide impact.

Nagel has a degree in criminal justice from USD and a business degree from Northern State University.

She starts on Monday.
