ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Committee recently completed their 8th annual Hat & Mitten Drive, which was a huge success thanks to individuals and businesses from Aberdeen to Arizona. Notable donations were received from Midco, which donated a large box of stocking caps, and Barbara Palen from the Grand Canyon State, who knitted and mailed over 50 sets of matching hats & mittens.
The warm gifts were distributed to Aberdeen Catholic, Aberdeen Christian and Aberdeen Public Schools where they will be given to children who need them.
The following businesses served as collection locations for the drive: 6th Avenue Pit Stop, Aberdeen Pit Stop,
Aspire, Berkshire Plaza/Insurance Plus, all C-Express locations, Ken’s SuperFair Foods, NVC, Primrose Retirement Community, QQP, Runnings and South C Store.
